본문
Gwangju Dutch Folly The Gwangju Biennale Foundation and the Netherlands Creative Industries Fund will collaborate on the Gwangju Dutch folly through which “The Critique of Everyday Life” can be experienced from a new perspective based on the urban research conducted on the architects of the two countries. This folly explores and presents the potential of new urban follies by displaying various forms, programs and space. MVRDV(Winy Maas), one of the leading architect groups in the Netherlands, will work together on this project with Cho, Byoung Soo, one of Korea’s most famous and respected contemporary architects. |
House in your dream, Dream House
There, we miss each other, look at each other,
laugh with each other and are happy together
Dream House in dream
Though twisted, distorted and deformed sometimes,
It is where we love, face and hug each other
Thus
Dream House, the house in our dream is where
we are happy for each other
The outer skin of Dream House consists 521 bronze sheets while the inner skin is made of 399 titanium sheets. Each was made in the same way with 0.3mm thickness while folded edges were glued. The light pink on titanium was not applied but was created by the re ection of light on the material’s natural color.
