Cho Namho is a principal architect at Soltozibin Architects. He has served as the Head of External Affairs for the Korean Institute of Architects, a member of the Urban Design Committee of Seoul Metropolitan Government, and lectured at the University of Seoul and Seoul National University.He is interested in “merging the universal methods of contemporary architecture and construction methods adopted from tradition into new types of architecture.” His work is grounded in constructivity and extends to sites, types, and programs, incorporating it into design work ranging from housing to urban architecture.

Toyo Ito & Associates, Architects, established for over 50 years, is led by Japanese Architect Toyo Ito. Together with worldleading local consultants and specialists, the office oversees every aspect of each project, ensuring that the architectural design is successfully realized from the conceptual stage to completion. Born in 1941, Toyo Ito grew up in Shimosuwa, Nagano, Japan and graduated from the Department of Architecture, University of Tokyo. Ito is the recipient of the Architectural Institute of Japan Prize, the Golden Lion at La Biennale di Venezia, the Royal Gold Medal from the Royal Institute of British Architects, the Pritzker Architecture Prize and the UIA Gold Medal. Toyo Ito has been seeking to go beyond the architecture of Modernism by rediscovering the relationship between architecture and nature and by bringing nature into architecture. By adopting novel computergenerated geometries, Toyo Ito & Associates, Architects aim to create architecture that integrates with nature, creating more comfortable spaces by bringing fluid natural movement into architecture. 


BARE (Jinhong Jeon, Yunhee Choi)

BARE(Jinhong Jeon, Yunhee Choi) explores architectural practice through research focusing on the lifecycle of objects and spaces that respond to dynamically changing urban environments. BARE’s work encompasses objects, installations, spaces, and infrastructure. Past projects include a series of pneumatic structures, kinetic pavilions, and selfassembling shelters. These projects were showcased at the Asia Culture Center (2015), the Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism (2017), and the Korean Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale (2018). A solo exhibition, Assembly of Air (Factory2, 2021), highlighted the AirBeam Pavilion (2021) which served as a mobile clinic for the Korea Aid for COVID-19 Respiratory Epidemic. Other projects include Air Bean (2021), a modular pneumatic structure, that has been acquired by the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA) for its permanent collection, and Air of Blooms, Inhabiting Air at Hyundai Motorstudio.

Assemble 

Assemble were founded in London, UK in 2010 to realise a single self-built project. They design buildings as well as set up organisations run businesses that among other things provide affordable space for cultural and industrial production in the city, support diverse forms of play through free-toaccess provision and create public access to tools and knowledge that enable people to make things. Together their projects and enterprises aim to make the built environment and how it is used more varied, accessible, equitable and rich. 


BC Architects & Studies & Materials 

BC is BC architects & studies & materials and are a Belgian design, research and education laboratory that make building projects and develop materials that together investigate the construction and production processes that shape the built environment, often through practical, hands-on projects, material prototyping and product development. BC materials specialise in recovering excavation earth from construction sites to create new, low impact building materials which, combined with academic and practical research into applications for earth in construction are leading a transformation in how the material is used in the construction industry. 


Atelier LUMA 

Atelier LUMA is a design and research laboratory based in Arles, France. Part of LUMA Arles, an arts foundation that supports a wide range of artistic projects and programmes, Atelier LUMA focuses on design and innovation within the Arles-Camargue bioregion, working with local and international collaborators to create projects that emphasize sustainability, local materials, and the application of existing forms of cultural knowledge within contemporary design approaches. The work of the Atelier involves diverse expertise drawn from various fields, and their projects range from research to actual construction.
