Mini Folly

Mini Folly is a folly for pleasure and entertainment of sort. Korean architect Kook Hyoung-gul, Syn Sue-Gyeong and Leif Høgfeldt Hansen, architect and professor at Aarhus University, are leading the project. Overcoming the innate limit coming from the site of a folly, it will be traveling around various places from the Biennale Square to others, allowing flexibility in its function and usage and connectivity with other works.

SPECTRUM has found inspiration in the aesthetic of the urban flux of the Asian city, where mobile elements such as stalls and street kitchens activate the life of the street both day and night. SPECTRUM is a flexible and mobile mini folly or street furniture, which can easily be moved to different locations in the cityscape according to the situation. It is constructed of a tensegrity structure with sails on a wooden base lit up at night by RGB. It is a sculptural landmark and a platform for activities in the pulse of the city.
