During
the summer vacation, teenagers of Busan visited Gwangju Folly.
60 teenagers
from Busan participated ‘Gwangju Folly 1 Mission Tour’ which has to complete
assigned mission after hearing explanation of seven follies about two hours
from 4pm to 6 pm.
This event provided small gifts to students who completed their missions
in time and consisted of various missions such as ‘Bingo game’ in ‘Open Box(by
Dominique Perrault)’ at intersection of pre-city hall, ‘Group jump-rope’ in ‘Flow
Control(by Alejandro Zaera-Polo)’ at Guem-namro Park, ‘Flashmob video making’ in
‘Gwangju Public Room(by Francisco Sanin)’ next to Asia culture hall and so on.
We want to thank all of them by participating passionately in a very hot
weather and wish to remain as a meaningful memory.

Kim’s review>(Gu-po middle school)
City glancing in the sunlight
City cherishing beauty in everywhere
City never losing its grace and beauty during
movement for democratic change
Till the May 18th Movement seems
impossible like blooming in cement
Gwangju, the city makes the impossible possible.
